broj poruka: 2057 | Sa srednjom ekonomskom, male su sanse da ce „skorije“ da dobije band 8 (akademski nivo, mislim). Pre ce biti 5 ili ako ga usere 6. Videce vec i sam kada bude radio probne testove. Detalji sta mora da zna za 8-micu:
1. task achievement
a. a band 8 – writers present well developed response with relevant supporting ideas (these ideas would be focused, a very specific example is shared and it is shown how that example proves a point)
i. The example – “For instance, big cities like Shanghai experience major pollution problems due to their high volume of traffic.” (And in sentences that would come after it, we would explain a little bit more about how this links to our argument, but it is very difficult to counter argue an example that true to life, this is the real thing that is happening)
2. coherence and cohesion – coherence refers to the ability of a piece of writing to be fully understood, cohesion refers to the ability of the various devices which could be sentences or it could be paragraphs or even it could be words to link together properly
a. a band 8 – all cohesion is used appropriately there are no mistakes, paragraph structure is sound (sound means it is without any problems). the level of cohesion is higher and coherence – it is much easier for the reader to understand what the student is writing
3. lexical resources – refers to the words, phrases and wordings that the students use on their exam
a. 7 and 8 level students will also make use of less common words and use more complicated word forms, for example, these students would be fairly fluent in how to use certain prefixes with certain words, not legitimate – illegitimate, not impressive – unimpressive, they are more fluent and able to change the forms of words than at the 6 level
4. grammatical accuracy – complex sentence structure:
a. a band 8 – differences between band 7 and band 8 in grammar section:
i. majority of error-free sentences
i neka ima na umu sledecu stvar, band 9 ti je savrsen nativan engleski orator. Znaci nije ga moguce razlikovati od pravog Engleza (kolko tolko obrazovanog). A 8-mica ti je za nijansu losije. Znajuci koliko se nista korisno ne radi ni na fakultetima u Srbiji, sanse da je u srednjoj skoli stekao neko veliko znanje bez licnog zalaganja su i vise nego neverovatno male.
