U Ocean Surface Simulation testu pobedjuje Titana X za 23%. Gubi u Face detection testu. (mada je taj test dosta zavisan od drajvera, ne od same snage hardvera)
As you can see in the three benchmarks shown that the Fiji GPU beats out the flagship TITAN-X graphic card on not only Ocean Surface Simulation but Optical Flow as well. The card loses (badly) in the face detection test but its worth noting here that face detection is a very driver dependent test unlike the fairly straightforward simulation tests. It could be that driver changes fix this or it could be that the test doesn’t like the current implementation of GCN. The specifications of the GPU are also given, indicating that this card is indeed Fiji.
The maximum compute units given is 64, from which we can conclude that the Fiji die does indeed have 4096 stream processors. We also know that this particular prototype was running on a core clock of 1000 Mhz. Clicking on gaming performance, I was able to find gaming benchmarks of the AMD Radeon Graphic Processor. However, as our readers are probably aware – the GFXBench OpenGL based tests are unreliable at consistently predicting gaming performance. But I am also sure they would like to take a look regardless so the GPU score and a TITAN-X comparison is given below:
In any case, I am pretty happy with the compute side of this leak. Not to mention this is one of the first authentic benchmarks of Fiji.

For anyone that’s paid attention to the discrete graphics business, even if for short a while, an aggressive performance per dollar focus from the red team will not surprise you at all. In fact many would argue that it’s been the mantra for Radeon. Providing users with performance that would otherwise only be accessible for a significantly larger premium from the green team.
AMD’s Hawaii is returning with higher clock speeds and double the VRAM. The R9 390X, replacing the R9 290X, will undoubtedly be faster than its predecessor. The higher clock speeds for the GPU core will likely enable the card to completely close the gap with the GTX 970 at 1920×1080. The doubling of memory capacity and the faster GDDR5 VRAM frequencies will enable the card to distance itself even further from the GTX 970 at higher resolutions in which the R9 290X is already ahead.
The fact that Nvidia has yet to show any interest in introducing 8GB versions of its GM204 based GTX 980 and GTX 970 cards means that users who need the higher memory capacity for multi-GPU setups driving high resolution monitors will find solace in the R9 390 series. Combine all of these advantages and a 9 price tag for the R9 390X 8GB actually creates a worthwhile proposition. It’s priced close enough to the GTX 970 for users to contemplate moving up to the R9 390X. And it’s noticeably less expensive than the GTX 980 for users to consider the more attractive value proposition. A better deal however is perhaps the R9 390 8GB which is even less expensive at 9.

Pa, s obzirom na to jedenje g*vana sa rebrandima, mislim da i oni znaju da ne smeju da zaseru ni malo. Malo imaju lufta zbog nvidijinog blama sa gtx970, ali nemaju previse lufta. Nvidija preuzima trziste zbog manje potrosnje i zbog Gameworksa.

AMD nema para kao nVidija i ne sme da se upusti u izbacivanje nečeg stvarno novog u već prevaziđenih 28nm, jer usled neuspeha, odoše još dublje u govna. Tek u 14nm, možemo da očekujemo nešto novo, a za sada samo unapređeni ribrend čisto reda radi. Ako cene budu OK, ne vidim u čemu je problem za većinu normalnih gejmera.

Nek je rebrend rebrenda ako cena / snaga imaju dobar balans koga realno zabole sta pise, koja je oznaka, ko je tim kartama otac a ko majka, ne?
gtx 980 se kolje sa 290x i to je to imas izbor na obe strane, realno ni ne mora nova serija da izlazi sto se mene tice, a sad je ovde svima bitno sto nece biti odgovora samo za gtx 980 TI, koga realno zabole? Ko ovde (cast izuzecima) dalje hiljade evra za jednu graficku?!
...i ja bih rekao da je u pitanju 970 sa 290/290x.
AMD nema high end karticu... zadnja nada je bila r9 390/390x, ali i to ode u qrac... mada, zvanicno jos nista nije prikazano... treba sacekati... ali sanse su veoma male...

mozda im je to ciljna grupa, ova prematora serija se jos uvek bori u igrama...

iskreno ako je to u pitanju malo je k*rvinski da zaHebu gejmere ali ni zelena strana nije bolja kad prodaju kartu za 1000$, a posle izbace jacu za pola cene, mada od toga zive...
